Moving company websites, built by the studio behind Silicon Valley Moving.

JC Media built and runs the full digital operation of Silicon Valley Moving, a family moving company in San Jose: the website, a customer app, a crew app, and the search behind them. We know what a mover needs from a website: a quote request that captures the right details the first time, proof that you are a real licensed carrier, and a listing that shows up when somebody searches at 9pm the night before their lease ends.

What this industry actually needs

Estimate requests that are actually usable

A generic contact form gets you a name and "need a quote." A moving estimate form should capture origin, destination, date, size, and access, so the first call is a conversation about price rather than twenty questions.

Credentials where people look for them

Movers get judged on legitimacy first. Your USDOT number, state authority, and insurance status belong above the fold, not buried on an about page.

Local search for the towns you actually serve

One page saying "Bay Area" competes with everyone. Pages built around the cities you really cover compete with the movers in those cities.

Inventory and survey tools

We build native apps for this. Van Line Pro is a descriptive inventory app for movers and for people inventorying their own move, and the Silicon Valley Moving app is a working example of a carrier-specific build.

Common questions

Do you work with movers outside the Bay Area?
Yes. Web, app, and SEO work does not require us to be local. Photography does.
Can you integrate with our existing moving software?
It depends on what the system exposes. Tell us what you run and we will tell you plainly whether an integration is realistic before you pay for anything.
Do you understand tariffs and interstate rules?
Well enough not to put something on your site that creates a compliance problem. We will not publish a price or a credential claim we cannot verify with you first.

Got something you want built?

Tell us what the business does and what is getting in the way. We will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.
