What stays on your device
Your stops, routes, schedules, and app preferences are stored only on your device. Router Pro has no user accounts and no backend of its own. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
Location
Router Pro uses your location, with your permission, to show where you are on the map, plan efficient routes from your position, and provide turn by turn directions. You can use the app without granting location access; location features simply will not appear.
Map and routing services (Mapbox)
Maps, search, traffic, and routing are powered by Mapbox. When you search for a place or plan a route, the coordinates and search text needed to answer that request are sent to Mapbox to process it. The Mapbox SDK also collects limited usage and diagnostic data to operate and improve its mapping services. Mapbox acts as a service provider; we do not receive or store this data ourselves. You can read Mapbox’s privacy policy at mapbox.com/legal/privacy, and you can opt out of Mapbox telemetry from the attribution menu on the map (the info button).
What we do not do
- No advertising and no ad tracking
- No sale of personal information
- No third party analytics of our own
- No tracking of you across other apps or websites
Children
Router Pro is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Meaningful changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.
